Canada Birch Bark Post Card from MILLEDGEVILLE NEW BRUNSWICK dated July 28,1922 to CLAPHAM, LONDON,ENGLAND. Unusual postcard cut from a piece of birch bark. The message on the back reads in part”…Pulled it off a birch tree…” The 3 cents Admiral #108 stamp is nicely tied paying the 2 cents + 1 cent for the bark. The card has a couple of pins at the side, inserted by the original sender, to keep the layers from seperating in the mail. Nice Item !
