POCON #005479 TRINITY (B.BAY) FF-TN August 2, 1996, addressed to PARIS ONTARIO. A CANADA DAY MAPLE LEAF QUILT 45 cents commemorative stamp issued June 28, 1996, along with a strip of four and a strip of three 52 cents Gravenstein Apple #1366, from the FRUIT TREE Definitives. A 1 cent Blueberry #1349 and a pair and two singles 10 cents Kinnikinnick #1354 from the EDIBLE BERRIES Definitives . It has the “AR” Sticker label the AR Card sticker and the REGISTERED RECOMMANDÉ green label. Stamps on both sides. Nice correct usage of the commemorative stamp in period and early after the new rate. Trinity is a small town located on Trinity Bay in Newfoundland and Labrador. The town contains several buildings recognized as Registered Heritage Structures by the Heritage Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador. Trinity was incorporated as a town in 1969. On September 6, 1996, an F2 tornado touched down in the town, damaging homes, and a shipyard building. Population of 182 in 2021.
